Ken Lyle has been involved in working stockdogs for over 30 years. Because of his extensive experience in many facets of handling livestock (from cow horses to hogs,) Ken has a wealth of knowledge regarding the requirements to properly handle livestock in order to reduce stress. He has worked with numerous breeds, including but not limited to: Australian Shepherds, Australian Kelpies, Border Collies, English Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, Bearded Collies, English Sheepdogs, Australian Cattledogs, Shetland Sheepdogs and Rottweilers. Ken is an ASCA® Stockdog Judge as well as an AHBA Herding Judge. He has traveled across the US and Germany judging and giving clinics and herding instinct tests. Ken has also done very well in the trial arena, where he has won multiple High in Trial awards. With his Hall of Fame dog, Tag, Ken won the ASCA National Finals in cattle.
