Tag was a multiple High in Trial winner and qualified for the ASCA® National Cattle Finals in 1997 and 1998. In 1998 he was the National Finals Champion Cattle Dog. At a pre-trial for the same Nationals, he won High in Trial from Advanced Sheep and his daughter, Witch, won Most Promising Started. He excelled working cattle and especially loved working them in large, open areas. He won multiple Post-Advanced Cattle classes, including one at the 1997 Nationals in Red Bluff in 103 degree heat!
